Frequently Asked Questions
Have a Question?
Here are answers to what clients ask most. Don't see yours? Reach out and I'll get back to you personally.
How does booking a trip with you actually work?
It starts with a conversation. You submit an inquiry or reach out directly, and we talk through what you're picturing — destination, dates, budget, who's traveling. From there, I put together options and handle all the details: flights, hotels, transfers, and anything else your trip needs. You approve, I book it, and you travel.
Do I pay for my trip through the website?
No — this website is for inquiries only, not payments or online checkout. Once we've finalized your itinerary, payment is handled directly and securely through me or the supplier (hotel, cruise line, or tour operator), the same way it would be with any licensed travel agency.
What does it cost to work with you as a travel advisor?
In most cases, my services cost you nothing extra — I'm compensated by the resorts, cruise lines, and tour operators I book with, not by charging you a markup. For some highly custom itineraries there may be a planning fee, which I'll always discuss with you upfront before any work begins.
How far in advance should I book?
It depends on the trip. Cruises and popular all-inclusive resorts during peak season (holidays, spring break, summer) book up months in advance — I generally recommend 6-12 months out for those. For more flexible getaways, 2-4 months is usually plenty. If you're working with a tighter timeline, reach out anyway — I can often still find great options.
What if I need to cancel or change my trip?
Cancellation and change policies are set by the supplier (hotel, airline, or cruise line), not by me, and they vary quite a bit. I'll always walk you through the specific terms before you book, and I'm your point of contact if you ever need to make a change afterward.
Do I need travel insurance?
I strongly recommend it, especially for cruises, international trips, and any non-refundable bookings. I can help you understand your options and point you toward coverage that fits your trip.
What happens if something goes wrong during my trip?
You're not on your own. As your advisor, I'm your advocate if a flight gets canceled, a hotel issue comes up, or plans change unexpectedly — I've helped clients rebook flights and extend hotel stays during storms, with no drama and no additional fees where possible.
Do you only book Caribbean, Mexico, and cruises?
Those are my specialties, but I plan trips well beyond them, too — Europe, Patagonia, Egypt, and more. If you have a destination in mind, tell me about it.
Do you speak Russian?
Yes — I'm fully bilingual in Russian and English and happy to work with you in whichever you prefer.
How do I get started?
Just fill out the inquiry form on the homepage or reach out by phone, text, or email. I personally follow up within 24 hours to start the conversation.
